I am very excited to share that I have started my new instagram page @geomorphiaaa! This page is dedicated to science communication, with a focus on my Ph.D. research in planetary science, geomorphology, and sedimentology. I will be sharing interesting articles, infographics, and my own journey into this world of Mars science!
I have always believed that science isn't just for scientists. But, science is only as strong as those who communicate it. Along with that, being a TA this semester has led many undergraduate students to ask me a question that, I think, burdens us all at some point in our lives. How do I know what to do with my life? And, to my amusement, they ask why I love being a geoscientist so much, which makes me chuckle.
I created this Instagram page as a creative outlet for sharing my research to an audience, hopefully, broadly outside of my discipline. I also aim to shed light on how I became interested in this alluring and mystifying world that is planetary geology, and how I got to where I am now.
So, whether you are a fellow geoscientist or just genuinely curious about how planets' surfaces tick, I hope you follow along for some brain-melting fun! There is a link on my Contact Me page, or just search @geomorphiaaa on Instagram.
Til' next time!
